Amigos,
les quiero compartir algunas cosas que hemos realizado en el último tiempo con
un gran esfuerzo, en estas tierras perdidas en el fin del mundo, y rodeadas por
uno de los mares más complejos que hay, el Océano Pacifico.

Desde
que iniciamos oficialmente nuestras operaciones en Chile el año 2005, hemos ido
lentamente creciendo y dando a conocer una forma distinta de ver y realizar el
buceo. Para ello creamos nuestra página
en internet http://tamarugodive.blogspot.com, y próximos a abrir iantd.cl y tamarugodive.cl, además participamos con diversos artículos sobre el buceo en diarios regionales
y nacionales como La Tercera, El Mercurio, El Sur y La Cuarta principalmente,
así mismo se ha participado con una serie de artículos en revistas deportivas
como lo es la revista Outdoors ( http://www.outdoors.cl
) y también de un aspecto más cultural como es la revista Periscopio. A esto se suma la participación con artículos
de buceos en revistas internacionales de campañas turísticas.
Since we started our operations in Chile officially 2005, we have been slowly growing and publicizing a different way to view and diving. To do this we created our website http://tamarugodive.blogspot.com, and is opening tamarugodive.cl iantd.cl and also participate in various articles about diving in regional and national newspapers as La Tercera, El Mercurio, El Sur y La Cuarta principally, also took part in a series of articles in magazines such as Sports Outdoors magazine (http://www.outdoors.cl) and also of a more cultural aspect as Periscope magazine. This is coupled with articles participation in international journals diving tourism campaigns.

Tiempo Libre, y en clubes deportivos y culturales.

Este
año con un gran esfuerzo y la participación de muchas certificadoras de buceo
se realizo el Primer Seminario de Buceo Deportivo en Chile, logrando traer
público desde Puerto Montt hasta de Antofagasta, separados más de 2700
kilómetros en total unos de otros.
This year with a great effort and participation of many diving certification, the First Seminar of Sport Diving in Chile, helping to bring groups from Puerto Montt to Antofagasta, separated over 2700 miles in total from each other.
Y con la participación de expositores internacionales, lo cual logró que el Seminario fuera un rotundo éxito. Quedando para el año 2013 la misión de realizar algo aún mejor y en el cual todas las certificadoras de buceo, así como todos los centros de buceo puedan participar para lograr expandir el buceo en Chile.

esto debemos sumar el esfuerzo de trabajar en la creación de un seguro médico
hiperbárico para los buzos en conjunto con la ACHS, tarea compleja y de un
camino largo por recorrer aún.
Finalizamos este año con éxito una expedición al SMS Dresden en la isla de Robinson Crusoe junto a Francisco Inzunza, y para el año 2013 nos esperan más expediciones a naufragios.

Con
respecto a cursos hemos realizado a final de año dos cursos de buceo Open
Water, los cuales han finalizado con éxito, incorporando nuevos buzos al mundo
submarino. A esto se suma cursos Deep Diver y Techinical Diver, en proceso de término.

buceo se ha convertido de a poco en una interesante actividad deportiva, la
cual ha ido incorporando cada vez a más participantes y de más heterogeneidad,
donde las mujeres tienen cada vez más espacio.
Además
quiero agradecer a las cámaras ISAW Chile que nos han apoyado en nuestra labor
de difundir el buceo con sus excelentes cámaras.

IANTD Chile estamos enfocados a compartir el concepto del buceo seguro y de
incorporar el buceo con mezcla y el Technical Diver en el mundo submarino,
objeto poder mostrar las maravillas sumergidas que poseen las costas de Chile y
que se encuentran reservadas solo para unos pocos privilegiados. Luego se debe aumentar la cantidad de buzos
que las pueden visitar, debe ser un privilegio para más personas, eso si respetando
las normas del buceo seguro.
